Here is to hoping no one in GA is listening to Lin Wood re this very bad advice.
I agree with you on this point. They may not be staunch conservative candidates, but for now we need them....
He'll be a convenient scapegoat. All the GOP cheerleaders and "election was not rigged" folks should be grateful for that.
Maybe this is a little bit of chicken / egg. Some Trump supporters are disillusioned. Not Trump's fault, just the way it is given that it looks like the DEMs are about to get away with stealing an election, and the GA GOP is not on board with calling it a cheat.
Their reasoning could be (and I have heard this articulated), the DEMs win by cheating no matter what, why bother to vote? And then when the GOP gets in, it stabs the people in the back anyway.
Loeffler and Perdue are part of the GA GOP. In it for themselves and eager to work with their friends across the aisle.
As for the "woe is the country" wailing - it's true. Some people figure why put off the inevitable? They see people like Graham who are staunch conservatives before the election, and work across the aisle to move the road of globalism the day after election. Might as well get on with it.
I doubt anyone would follow that advice. I think he was trying to get the senators attention. But, there was a better way.
