I’ll bet every one of them thought we’d all be back by now. I will NEVER go back

Of course they did, maybe just maybe the right is willing to fight, and if you can’t switch “news” channels, that’s pretty lame.

RINOs would be well advised to pay attention going forward.

FOX News doesn't want conservatives to go back. Their intent is to make the company enticing to another buyer and since television is the domain of the Left, FOX is hoping a current Leftist-controlled company will absorb it.

Television (Fixed Transmission Video) is in sharp decline and FOX is particularly in trouble because they're not already tied to a larger conglomerate such as Viacom, Comcast, or Disney. FOX since 2019 has been nothing more than the castoffs from when Disney bought out FOX and left the remnants behind for Murdoch (letting him keep the name).

Viewership has changed. It's not just the issue of the "Cord Cutters"; there's an upcoming generation of "Cord Nevers" who have not owned a television and have no plans of doing so. People want comment sections, links, interactions, and the freedom to pick and choose when and what to do.

Streaming services (in effect the "a la carte" programming the telecoms fought against for so long) offer more than Fixed Transmission Video. CBS and ABC/Disney began offering streaming services in the last few years and NBC just started offering their streaming in August of 2020. FOX, since it is the scraps of what the parent was, can't offer streaming of old television and movies since ABC/Disney bought those rights in 2019. Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, AppleTV etc., already have a huge lead on ABC/CBS/NBC.

Streaming via web platforms offers digital advertising:

2013 was the first year that digital advertising surpassed broadcast television.

2019 was the first year digital advertising surpassed all traditional forms of advertising.

2020 was the first year that YouTube advertising alone surpassed television advertising.

There is a hand writing on the digital screen...

Well I guess I don’t have to listen to “the good men and women of the FBI” Hannity.
