Fox News host Sean Hannity has suggested President Donald Trump should pardon himself and his family before leaving the White House in January.
The suggestion was made on Hannity's Fox News radio show on Monday while discussing how Trump last week announced a full pardon for his former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Speaking to former Trump attorney Sidney Powell, Hannity suggested that the president needed to protect himself from future legal investigations in order to protect himself from the incoming Biden administration.

Nothing on Parler but isn’t it odd that Twitter has kept that post and the comments up?
Pardon himself for what?
I hope Sean isn’t going to become a defeatist. He’s Trump’s biggest supporter in the media.
why do I keep hearing this BS !!!!
FOR WHAT????
you cant just get a general pardon! it has to be for something IN PARTICULAR!
what the heck has Trump done that would need a pardon?
oh yeah! that’s right! NOTHING!
I don’t believe Trump and his family have done anything, but to protect from being endlessly harassed, then sure, why not?
Then if Joe takes office, he can pardon himself and his crooked family.
Yeah, I respect the office of the presidency...sure thing.
Nah Trump is Obi Wan strike him down he becomes more powerful then you could possibly imagine
*In my best Burns voice while rubbing my paws together*... Eeeexcellent!!
Flynn didn’t do anything either and look at him.
He didn’t.
Thx
Tried to sneak the Debbie downer lies through. The piece is just more fecal floaters from the fifth column scumedia. Lying is such an invogue thing these days, especially from ‘faux journalists’.
Oh my, the rumor mill is grinding itself into dust!
Have tyou been listening in on Andrew Weisman’s phone again ?

The fish of fbi rotted from the head. The meat is now thoroughly rancid all the way down.
Bear in mind that a pardon carries with it a de facto admission of guilt.
Now, THEREFORE, I, GERALD R. FORD, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9,1974.
I think Hannity is building up to call for Trump’s concession. He keeps harping on evidence, as if none has been presented. Wants to continue to play ball with Fox.
Hannity already sure Biden will be president. I’m pretty over Hannity.
“Bear in mind that a pardon carries with it a de facto admission of guilt.”
Only for those who already believe the pardoned person was guilty and won’t be convinced otherwise. It is a de facto erasure of the crime as if it never happened or an assertion that it never happened. Commutation is more along the lines of what you claim.
And the President’s power of pardon is essentially absolute at the federal level, but does not apply at the state level. There is no constitutional constraint other than in matters of impeachment, and we’ve already been there. And a general pardon not specific to any charged crime is possible - Nixon got one.
That being said, Trump should not do it - it would be pointless as they can simply manufacture any “crimes” they wish and the evidence to “convict”.
