I did look into this, and Natural News was the earliest source I found. Flynn’s and McInerney’s interview was a few days after the NN story was published.

What makes you think ret. gen. Flynn, who quit Trump four years ago, and McInerney, who is known for the straight-up outlandish claims he often makes and is a loose cannon who also, in his early 80’s, was a CEO for a piece of YAHOO, a real provider of factual information, is even going to know what happened? Doubt it. Same as with many thing the citizens’ don’t need to know. But speculations (opinions) are like @$$#0!3$, everyone’s got one.
