It’s funny how no one wants to talk about the schools. I’m old, it really doesn’t affect me as much as some others, but those typing FIGHT in caps, and bold letters, and expanded font are just pissing in the wind. If the public is indoctrinated, they’ll get their way. The left is kicking our butts every which way, and the next 4 years are going to be brutal. Especially after they steal those 2 seats in GA.
What really pisses ME off is that some of us have been screaming from the roof tops for 50 f**king years that we were going to wind up here. And, here we are!
True story!
Longer ago than I care to remember, several of us distributed literature in a Kmart parking lot detailing the absolutely MISERABLE voting record of our then congress critter.
A fellow parked his car near me. I walked toward him and, with a smile and a friendly “Hello,” extended a flyer toward him.
He frowned, looked at it and asked, “What’s that?”
Without missing a beat, I replied, “It explains the difference between ignorance and apathy.”
He brushed the flyer away and blurted “I DON’T KNOW AND I DON’T CARE!”
Through clenched teeth, I laughed so hard I thought I’d have a stroke.
I STOPPED laughing years ago!
Today, in November of 2018, a recent Gallup Poll disclosed that only 30% of us can name ONE of the rights enshrined in the First Amendment and only 1 in 4 know that we have 3 branches of government, let alone name them.
To say that we’re in deep trouble doesn’t quite cover it!
