I’ve been thinking that LA and SFO are intentionally letting the trash pile up to health hazard levels for a political strategy and I assumed it was that CA is hiding financial collapse by re-directing federal trash funds, and maybe that’s still partially true, but this article kinda put a hole in that theory.

I think Newsom wants riot conditions ready to provide unrest on demand so letting trash and feces pile up on the street is the starter to portray the US as tragically broken, racist and unbearable to those living in those two urban cities.
