Two women, wearing masks and carrying cans of spray paint, were caught on video surveillance footage late Monday evening trespassing and defacing statues at the Santa Ana temple. Both were seen in dark clothing, one wearing a blue Patriots beanie and the other a black beanie.
Police investigating all six incidents of vandalism say they could be related and are pursuing at least two suspects. Three temples have been vandalized with black spray paint in Garden Grove, two in Santa Ana and one in Westminster.
A similar vandalism incident of five temples in Santa Ana and two houses of worship in Garden Grove occurred in 2018, resulting in a woman arrested for breaking off pieces of the statues.
Santa Ana police have stepped up patrols at temples across the city and have been sharing evidence with neighboring police departments.

Some California Vietnamese supported Trump; now Vietnamese Temples vandalized, is there a connection?
*cough, cough* antifa *cough, cough*
Blmk
I guess the Communist community does not just hate Christians anymore. Are there any Chinese government operatives in California these days? Were there any Buddhist in Hong Kong to give the mainland Chinese Government a bit of a negative attitude towards religion?
Terrible.
Its weird how the only “houses of worship” that seem to avoid random street violence are mosques.
Pictures please?
We lived in OC, CA in the seventies (and beyond) when the Vietnamese were brought to the country and there wasn’t a lot of jubilation in the general population over them coming to OC but neither did anything of this sort happen to them or their property. Shows just how rotten things have become that anyone could even think of doing such a thing. We know who to thank for that kind of behavior and he sat in the WH for 8 years too long but I’m not going to name names but I will point fingers at every stinkin’ dimocrat in office and those to come who fanned all the flames for this.
Yeah, but spray painting “Jesus” is a good way to smear Christians when it’s probably Pantifa at work.
Neat well formed and evenly spaced lettering.
I suggest the OCSD ask questions around at the nearest college art department.
