While there are many ulterior motives ascribed to the offices actions, if they were to be doing good it would include these actions. Any responsible agents are going to reach out to collect information on such reported wrongdoing - especially when it appears so clear-cut. Either it is good information accumulated by the legal team, or it is not; either the folks live there, or they do not.

If they do not and can’t clearly explain it, they should be prosecuted. And explaining that they ‘live at the post office’, is rather a high bar.
