Faizon is not improving his chances of finding new work in Hollywood by making a big deal about this.
Presently, he looks extremely overweight, maybe near 400lbs from the look of it. If he was anywhere near that weight ten years ago, it’s not surprising that his image is sparely being used. Not fair, but movies are by definition, a visual medium. They promote the images that sell to the most people.
If Faizon is not careful, he will get blacklisted like that former TV comic Monique. Now, all she does is go show to show complaining about how ‘Da System done her wrong!”

In the past couple weeks, there was an article about the first fully-Oriental female MLB GM - a U of Chicago grad who got into the biz right out of college. I don’t follow sports generally, so I had never heard of her (or of any baseball bigwig apart from Steinbrenner). Some inebriated scout needled her about her ethnicity/race in 2003 during a convention, at a time when she was Assistant GM. For some reason, the incident got blown up, and the scout was fired, days after he had been hired by the Mets. It would not surprise me if she became toxic after that. If she had insisted, the incident would likely have been played down. But I suspect she let it snowball, costing the scout his job. People say all kind of things when they’re drunk. You can’t hold it against them. That she gave him a hard time probably led to her being sidelined every time a GM job opening came up.

My guess is all has not gone well with his career and he is looking for a pay out like some women who jumped in for during the metoo time just for payola.
