The understanding of the danger is low. The virus is taking less and less time to double in victims. It’s basically the monstrous epidemiology of this disease that is poorly understood. When it gets out of control, it is just that, out of control.
And I would add that the greatest friend of this virus is the Freudian defense mechanism of fantasy, in modern parlance applicable to the present situation, denial.
