Why doesn’t everyone get whatever virus is going around every year? Be it flu, cold, or whatever? Obviously a hermit living in the mountains isn’t going to come in contact with a contagion but it seems to me virtually everyone should get sick without a vaccine.
But that’s not what happens. During the Spanish flu pandemic if I remember right only about 25% of Americans got sick. Why does this happen? It stands to reason that there must be some natural immunity in a certain portion of the population, or some other mechanism that prevents complete transmission of the virus from one individual to another. Why is this never discussed in our current situation?
There are certain risk factors that make you more susceptible to the flue and now COVID. In particular with COVID, if you have Metabolic Syndrome (”symptoms” include obesity, hypertension, diabetes, general inflammation, heart disease, etc.) and/or your Vitamin D levels are very low, you are at a much higher risk for COVID (and flu, particularly with low Vit D). Also, it may also be that since there are many Corona Viruses, like the common cold, that the healthy immune systems of some people recognize (via T cells) “corona” & fight it off before they ever really get it.
There is LOTS of info out there on Metabolic Syndrome/Vit D. I would suggest Ivor Cummins videos (has a youtube channel), Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Paul Saladino, etc. The government SHOULD be majorly talking about how to strengthen your natural immune system, but as always, the $$$ is in the vaccine. The $$$ is also in drugs such as insulin ... Type 2 diabetes is preventable & also reversible. Obesity, T2D, heart disease, etc. are epidemic and mostly preventable by what you put in your mouth. Big food, big pharma are not interested in preventing/reversing any of this because they are all about the money. Personally, I think it’s criminal to let people get sick and suffer so much. Just saying ....
