Venison was heavily on the menu.
One of the Pilgrims even wrote that he was amazed at how many deer the Wampanoag Indians brought.
The Wampanoag also brought squash, a main food of the tribe.

I can imagine an EC horror comic depicting the Pilgrims digging up dead Indians to have a cannibalistic feast.
Though it might be more in context with the “Lost Colony” of Roanoke, to explain where the colonists went.
