I’m no attorney but it seems like the already ripe evidence of the on-the-ground fraud was used to get this into court and the remote server issues, including with Chinese and Iranian access, are there to open the door for fuller and likely more nationally significant evidence that won’t have to revealed before a trial, appeal and/or higher ruling.
