In the aftermath of the police killing of George Floyd in May, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell vowed that the league would help address “systemic issues” and later offered an apology to former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who began kneeling at gamers during the anthem in 2016 but failed to sign with a team in ensuing seasons.
But the league must take further steps to address the “nepotism and cronyism” that preserves overwhelmingly white and male leadership at its 32 franchises, said Fox Sports host and former linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

That’s true. All those stadiums that were paid for by taxpayer dollars should all be destroyed. Or any profits the stadiums generate should be distributed amongst the taxpayers in said cities.
That may be part of why ownership is the way it is, but for leadership positions it has moved into failure of significant numbers to compete since Ozzie Newsome broke ground. The opportunity could be said to be not given before that time, but since then there has been a good deal of opportunity, and not yet much success.
The police did not kill George Floyd. George Floyd, a violent career criminal, died of a self inflicted fentanyl overdose.

To prove they are not racist, the NFL must cease all operations until all the seats in each stadium for each game is 50% Balck and 50% White. There is no reason this racist sytem should continue with mostly White people in attendance.
Further, all TV audiences must be equally split 50-50 between Blacks and Whites, if not, it will prove beyond a shadow of doubt that the NFL and Roger Goodell are racist.

If I was watching, I would watch more if there were more people I could identify with...you know, my color.....but alas, there is little diversity in pro sports ....

A former baller who is now an analyst on Fox. Prior to this article, I have never heard of him; however, the more these opinions are transmitted, the deeper the hole for the NFL.
