Fox News' Tucker Carlson had a rare ratings blip on Friday, losing to a John Berman-hosted version of Anderson Cooper 360 in the coveted 25-54 demographic.
According to Nielsen Media Research, AC360 was the most-watched show in cable news during primetime on Friday for ages 25-54 with around 604,000 viewers, edging out its 9 p.m. successor Cuomo Prime Time into second place.
In comparison, Tucker Carlson Tonight was watched by 534,000 aged between 25 and 54 at 8 p.m. on Friday, placing the show in fifth overall for the age group.

I’m really, really enjoying the Roku I bought for $30. It has Pluto. No Fox. Has OAN, Newsmax, War Room, America’s Voice, Blaze, The First. Dumped cable on that TV, and will do the same for another TV next week.
Fox was on my TV 24/7 never changed the channel, watched everything twice change the channel to Newsmax on Election Day and NEVER looked back they abandon the person who brought them to the dance!!
Tucker and his agent were planning to get Hannity Money with the new Fox contract.
Not going to happen now with the 50% ratings drops.
Other than a very few conservatives FNC is CNN. Their election night behavior is unforgivable. I really like Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs, Levin and the Judge.
But, by supporting those and the evening line up which has been carrying the rest of FNC you are supporting the Murdoch Women and that little prick Paul Ryan.
All those I mentioned and Carlson have talent and fans if they leave FNC they will be back on tv or online streaming at some point. FNC is in a death spiral of their own making by adopting the NFL business model of spit in the face of your customers and tell them they will like it and ask for more.
They maybe low hanging fruit and the GOP establishment is going to cry about it but FNC did this to themselves and this descent into the dark side didn’t start on election night, it crested election night and the viewers finally said enough is enough.
I’m looking for them, but I can say that his show, Fox News Sunday isn’t even in the top 15 on Fox. Can’t say I’ve ever watched it, but, haven’t seen him appear on other Fox shows in the past, I can’t stand the pompous little prick.
Among Sunday “news” shows in the 2019/2020 viewing season, he has less than half the viewers of NBC’s Meet the Press (3,505,000), CBS’s Face the Nation (3,413,000) and ABC’s This Week (3,009,000). Fox News Sunday has about 1,432,000.
So, when considered in the aggregate and using a colloquial term, I’d say most viewers think his show SUCKS.
Tucker is not a victim here. He dug his own hole.
“Fox News’ Tucker Carlson had a rare ratings blip on Friday, losing to a John Berman-hosted version of Anderson Cooper 360 in the coveted 25-54 demographic.”
I never understood that demographic.
I/we were in that bracket and were part of a semi focus group to record what we watched and to participate in the semi focus group for about 2 decades. At first my wife got the boxes ready and was paid to do that. Later our kids did it.
Then, BOOM! I turned 55 and they didn’t want me anymore.
Our income was up significantly, yet I/we didn’t make that matrix.
As I’ve said in another forum, name an instance in which an attorney has given his evidence to the media prior to trial. Leaks? Yes, of course; but evidence, no friggin’ way. There is already an abundance of what will become official evidence when entered into court for anyone choosing to look for it, which is what real journalists and commentators used to do.
Is Jarrett selling out as well?
Tucker has to do what he has to do and so do we. Let the chips fall where they may. No more FAUX news in my house. We refuse to be their willing chumps anymore. Backstabbers boomerang effect.

insider: the panic there is very real.
If you support President Trump, you’re dead with management.
If you support Joe Biden, you’re dead with your audience.

Both Tucker and Laura rarely talk about the fraud. They are focusing on the virus, the lockdowns and Biden’s policies and cabinet choices. The virus seems to be safe ground on Fox, at least for now.
True, FOX has some creeps on there but all, in, all, they’re still the most conservative network on TV. They have some great people there, who are doing great things. To root for their demise, while cheering on CNN, is ridiculous. CNN has NO conservatives. I am very disappointed and will still watch Bartiromo, Kilmeade, Doocy,, Varney, McDonald, Dobbs, Tucker, Hannity, and Laura. They deserve our support and they are bringing on guests that inform us.
The big story that Tucker should be talking about is the Dems’ relentless jihad against Trump and what it has put him and the country through. Four years of never ending Deep State plots, lies, bogus investigations, a disgraceful impeachment, Ukrainian fantasies, etc. that STOLE much of Trump’s presidency from him.
The viciousness and persistence of this effort, and the fact that federal agencies were weaponized to do it, should be the focus of his program every night.
Its the biggest story and scandal of our time.
I thought the same until about a week ago, Tucker used the phrase “President-Elect _______”. There was no misleading context. That did it for me. I think he should take a stand and walk away from FOX.
The Steal is the biggest story.
Wow....you defend FraudNews an awful lot.
Have you heard about OANN or NeesmaxTV??
Actual alternatives to turncoat FixIt News.
Why would you want to throw FOX under the bus? That’s throwing away the baby with the bath water. Boycott the creeps like Cavuto, Wallace, etc. I’m thankful for most of them.
“Tucker used the phrase ‘President-Elect _______’.”
He chose to use the phrase, so screw him.
Corporate Media is by nature compromised, now people are discovering new sources of news not polluted by the Corporations that Big Media is beholden to.
