CV19 is not a hoax. It is real, just like the flu. The response is the hoax. It’s really not that deadly. I’d worry more about climbing into a car.

The response from state governments is very real, and it has impacted (and even ended) many lives. Between Cuomo and Newsom forcing nursing homes to accept known-infected patients and the shutdowns/lockdowns running half of all small businesses out of business, there are very, very real consequences to the complete failure of state governments around the country. The poverty this will create will echo through a generation or more.

We must not dismiss these responses; we must closely analyze them and their actual impact on people. Several governors should be under indictment for negligent homicide for their roles in causing needless COVID-19 deaths. Tens of thousands of them. We cannot allow that to go without investigation and indictment.

The hoax is the overhyping of how severe this is. 80% of those infected recover with no medical intervention. That’s skewed by age group and overall health status (younger/healthier generally do better). The media and the Democrats would have everyone believing it’s a death sentence. 0.65% were dying back in May and that number likely needs an update as doctors seem to be improving treatment outcomes over time. Again, not a hoax as that’s still a lot of people, but hardly the plague that ends humanity.
