Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was recently duped by a pair of Russian pranksters, BBC News reports.
Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov released the audio recording of the chat in which they masqueraded as Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.
“Hello Greta!” Trudeau, 48, said at the start of the recording.
One of the tricksters said, “I understand that you have a lot of work and not so much time to talk to a young girl, but I’m very concerned about the growing international crisis.”
The fake Thunberg’s call came in the days following tensions between Iran and the U.S. that resulted in a flight being shot down. Nearly 60 Canadians were aboard the fatal voyage.
“Leave Nato, drop your weapons, pick flowers, smile at nature,” the impersonators told the politician, adding that he and his fellow world leaders “are adults, but you act like children.”

Media doesn’t find it as funny when Russians do this to world leaders as when Borat does this to Republicans.
justine trueDOH, p.m. of canaDUH? Cat fished again?
As a Canadian, who did NOT vote for Baby Turd-Owe, and who is stuck living in a solid Liberal riding with an entire family of solid Liberal voters, who look at me like I’m a space alien for not loving Princess Justine Dreamy Castro like they do, I say anything that makes the part-time drama teacher look like the airhead buffoon he really is, is entertaining to me. :P
It was probably a fake Justin Trudeau working in his office at the receiving end. Fake empathy for fake concern.
>the days following tensions between Iran and the U.S. that resulted in a flight being shot down.
The days following Iran killing their own people with American Communists marching in the streets in solidarity with a dead Iranian terrorist.
Those same two Russians have tricked numerous people.
I suspect their act is getting as old as Borat.
ping
This is old, that Iran shootdown thing was a long time ago.
