The CIA also has the support of people like the so-called “Mad Dog” Mattis (I believe he gave himself the nickname as he is suspected of being gay and doesn’t want to publicly admit it); Romney, Liz Cheney and GW and Jeb Bush (none of whom, nor any of their children, served in a foreign Mideast conflict or other war but are huge advocates of others doing so at their bidding); and the 20 percent of the population that considers itself “elite” (which means they will profit from the terror scare and the endless wars but almost invariably, have neither themselves nor relatives been involved in actually fighting them. As in Jennifer Rubin, John Bolton, George Will (together with his ill-fitting toupee), William Kristol, and most of the writers at National Review.
