Fox News’ Popularity Slips Among Republicans in Wake of Election

Fox News’ favorability has tumbled among Republicans since Election Day, as the cable news network has faced a steady drumbeat of criticism from President Donald Trump.

From late December 2019 through Nov. 2, 67 percent of U.S. adults who identify as Republican viewed Fox News favorably, according to Morning Consult’s Brand Intelligence, which tracks consumer attitudes of thousands of brands, while roughly 16 percent had an unfavorable view of the cable channel.

Then came election night, when Fox News was the first news organization to project a Trump loss in the battleground state of Arizona.

The announcement reportedly enraged the president, and in the days since he has continued to wallop the network on Twitter, saying its ratings have “completely collapsed,” criticizing its coverage of his supporters’ rally in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 14 and suggesting that his followers turn instead to One America News Network or Newsmax, two conservative cable news networks.

It appears such rhetoric has impacted public opinion of the brand. In polling conducted Nov. 9-16, the network’s average favorability rating among GOP respondents has dropped 13 percentage points, to 54 percent, and the average share of those with an unfavorable view of the network nearly doubled, to 30 percent.

I haven’t watched Fox News since election night.

And never will again.

How does Chris Wallace not ask Biden a single question on Ukraine and his families’ fortune from Foreign Countries?

And the rest of the Actors on the network don’t question it.

Screw Fox

Brett Baier went on the View and criticized Trump.

He said that he can’t put together a show outline because Trump tweets or makes a controversial statement, and he has to then include it in the show.

He said, we have to cover it.

Why didn’t Brett Baier feel compelled to redo his show and include any of the crazy stupid things Joe Biden said?

Like curing Cancer? Like making up obviously fake stories, like attending A Historically Black college. Like claiming he was arrested. Like his daily misstatements, such as we need Family Separation.

Baier ignored them all. He could’ve done the same with Trump, but he wanted to get Trump.

Simple.

Nice job, Paul Ryan! You have manufactured one colossal disaster after another! Be honest. You are and have always been a DemocRAT, haven’t you? No real Republican could be this big of a phuque-up.

I wonder how much revenue they will lose before daddy Murdock intervenes to replace his “defective unit” liberal son with a more focused, competent, conservative manager?

A simple concept, “Give the customer what they want?”, with the axiom, “Even if you really want to give them something that you want but they don’t.”

So many money losers in the media just can’t get this concept through their pea brains.

Hmmmm... so Hannity is taking a night off tonight? It is close to Thanksgiving but given all that is going on, I wouldn’t think that this was planned...

AZ was paper thin close, IF you want to pretend all those ballots were legit, so even if AZ does go to Biden, the fact it was so close and took days to decide shows you how ridiculous Fox's call was. Add that to the fact they use 2000 (TWENTY YEARS AGO) as an excuse NOT to call Florida for Trump when he was so far head.

Also, Fox also made some asinine comments early on (around 8:30pm ish EST that the house was going to stay Dem and the Dems were on track to PICK UP up to 5 or 6 seats.
They always jump to the side of the left on early calls.

WHY??

Gee, ya don’t say. We need to make the rest who haven’t gotten the message understand that Fox is not their friend. Fox is with the corrupt swamp now. Go to Newsmax or OANN.

If media companies were only concerned about the bottom line, their partisan divide would mirror that of the population. It doesn’t. They’re all on the Left. There is vast market share waiting to be had on the Right with no competitors vying for it. Clearly their ideology is winning out over the bottom line.

And if the doddering evil corrupt Biden gets sworn in as POTUS, Fox will be to blame.

If I want to be told “Resistance is futile” and other other lies, I have plenty of leftist channels who at least don’t pretend to hold my views.
Life to too short to wait for the latest “bombshell” if I just watch the next commercial, the next show, the week, etc, etc.

F$$$%k Fox and every damned talent that stays there to be paid for the whores they are!
