What are you ordering? Crumpets? Mini-Cooper car parts?
My son wanted a special bike for my grandson, and ordered it. He didn’t know it was made in Ireland. But that happened to them - didn’t come in time for birthday, but it did come.
This has been several weeks ago. I don’t think the announcement is anything ominous.
I saw a comment along these lines from someone who had originally ordered a book from the UK. Due to the delays, they had cancelled their order & placed it with someone else they found who had it stateside.
These are standard, boilerplate statements these days. Everywhere you call or go, you’re likely to hear a variation of the “Covid excuse.”
That makes even less sense than the delay. Why would something made in the EU be shipped through post-Brexit UK. Cologne is the European air hub for UPS.
It is what it is. If you want something and there is only one source, then order as soon as you can because there are going to be a lot of others ahead of you. I’ve been waiting 9 months for some shipments to arrive. It is like having a baby.
Lucas replacement wire harness smoke :p
Shipments from Eurasia to Oceania will be faster due to Covid delays.
Amazon still delivering next day for Prime customers.
Good guess. Thule roof rack parts (apparently rarely or never sold in the USA) for an older (USA) auto.
> Lucas replacement wire harness ...
condolences :-/

When it doubleplusgood be there overnight!
We have been flying at peak levels since June, not enough crews/aircraft to fly everything. Crazy out there!
Some of the selections are actually extreme for me. But Amazon shouldn't be in the censorship business.
I’ve gotten two notifications on Amazon orders being late. They got here the next day, but I’ve never had that happen before.
thanks LOL
UPS, FedEx, et.al. almost always have a disclaimer about shipment delays because of weather, Covid, gerbils, etc.
Bought something off Ebay that shipped from CA on Nov 4. It was delivered in PA today.
Remember seeing a report stating that shipping resources that normally max out in late November, were fully utilized as of October. They are recruiting anyone not at room temp to be pressed into service.
