I am always perplexed when people who rely on mass-consumerism take the risk of alienating a large part of their consumer base. There will always be many people working in non-sensitive industries that will hit out on political points, so there is NO need for someone working in a sensitive industry (eg entertainment, hospitality, mass retail, etc) to stick their nose into anything to do with religion, politics, culture etc!
Just, simply, do not!
Even when it’s a burning proposition just don’t do it and let someone from a non-sensitive industry toss the dart. It’s truly amazing!
