Nope - never had an acct and I get that message now and then - but since it comes up when I’ve used a link to get to the tweet, I determined it’s due to incoming links not always displaying correctly (on the first page load - reload and it shows up).
Yeah I can't think of a reason why having a former account would cause or not cause it.
