There is nothing safe or sacred about the paper ballots of today. Because they get fed into a tabulating machine which prolly has been programmed to give your vote to the opposing candidate, a la this 2020 election. I don’t know the remedy, but a paper ballot alone ain’t it.
It still boils down to the numbers you send to the State Election office, for all I know you could make up those numbers out of your butt.
