Be a parent and say no social media accounts while living under your roof. Nothing good will come of it. So your daughters hate you, whatever, you and they will survive.

Our awesome granddaughter is almost 16 and her parents have wisely steered her away from social media.....no Facebook

She spends her time making straight A’s and having wholesome fun with her friends and enjoying being with her parents

You just have to lay down some guidelines and put them on the honor system. Instead of spying on them have a review periodically with them present of their devices. Discuss and let them know their opinions count even though you may not agree with all of them.

My biggest concern was they not give out too much personal information such as address and phone number or arrange to meet people they have met via the internet. That’s a tough one.

If you are too restrictive they are likely to find ways around it and I commend you for holding the line until they were 13.
