The fake diagnosis is an old trick abortionist Florendo’s abortion operation at 30 S. Michigan Ave in Chicago had done this constantly in the ‘80s. In those days, we were able to get mainstream press coverage, at least from a “consumer fraud” angle. In those days, pro-lifers sent a woman in with a man’s urine specimen (ultrasound was pretty new). Sure enough, it came back positive.

The Sun-Times ran a multi-part series called “Meet the Abortion Providers” (1979). We sidewalk counselors made great use of photocopies of that exposé for years. I have to admit, having a respected media outlet do honest reporting was very useful.

Yes I remember. Carol Everett talked about it. Her clinic was busted by a tv crew for doing that.
