Side Bar: My wife and I both have never owned a gun or any firearm in our lives (We are both 80 years old). We have no intention of purchasing any firearm and we will never mocve forward to obtain firearms.
But...I recently learned that all of our Children, Grand Children and their boy friends & girl friends have recently purchased high powered fire arms (Pistols) and all of them (Thirty people) have attended classes and instructions as to how to use these weapons properly in self-defense!!!
As one of them bluntly said to the wife & I...”Granny, Gramps...its time we move to protect ourselves”. All of them, everyone of them, are Trump supporters and voters.
My worst thoughts look like they are coming to pass...”Civil War is on the way!!! This will not end well for Democrats, IMHO!!! Sad, Sad, Sad, days are lurking in the future!!! May God help us!!! I never, ever thought I would see days like this coming from millions of Americans, who believe they will not be protected from harm and danger by our tryrant, Big Brother governments..period!!!

Thanks for sharing. It’s honestly just nature taking it’s course. When an educated person sees violence and lawlessness in the streets, and government law enforcement organizations like the FBI seemingly refusing to enforce the law, it becomes apparent that each of us may have to defend our own selves from the lawlessness at some point. Basic survival instinct. Sounds like you raised some well rounded, level headed children, that recognized this and responded appropriately. Well done.
