Many of us who are obese realize we are at higher risk for death from this virus. It simply takes more oxygen to run a larger body and when this virus screws up your lungs, obese people cannot get the amount of oxygen we need to run larger bodies. This man died of the Virus because he had a co-morbity. It is a sad story that is being repeated worldwide.

Those of you denigrating him because he was obese remind me of the people who called us fat kids names all through school. You probably were those kids in high school. Too bad you haven’t grown up and developed more compassion.

You know what - I was made fun of in school because I was skinny. In fact, someone took a biology textbook and wrote my name next to a picture of a human skeleton and left it on my desk. So no, I wasn't 'those kids in high school'.
