The power to tax is the power to destroy. Would you say freedom of religion would not be impacted if the government taxed you $500 every time you attended the church of your choice (rather than the church of their choice)?
I never advocated that taxing 2nd amendment (or any) rights was good. I simply said the the 2nd amendment was silent on any cost for the right to keep and bear arms.
I fear the dimrats are on a path to tax everything, including the air we breathe in the name of income equality (marxism).
