Two great comments back to back...I cashiered the GOP, as far as membership goes, when GHW Bush "41" had his "no new taxes" brain fart. When it comes to the likes of Ernst, Romney, Sasse etc. an occasional moment of mental clarity enables them to be somewhat useful- as in SCOTUS votes. The Rats are twisted, seditious, and ate up with socialism; but damn if they ain't organized. Fighters like Reagan and Trump at the head of the GOP is a thirty to forty year wait.
