Your post could have been written by me. I’ve been thinking along those lines for some time now. I don’t see any way out other than violence and separation. Either that, or we lie down, give up, and just let them have the country. I alternate between being really scared and thinking, “Bring it. Let’s get it over with.”
I’m with you. I totally understand. I alternate between the two as well. My husband- 32, served in Afghanistan, wounded warrior/amputee- is ready for Civil War 2. He’s been warning of it for a couple years now. I thought he was being macho & over the top. Nope! He was right. I find it terrifying & “bring it on” simultaneously 😉
