I believe you are absolutely right.

This is the reasoning that gets me all ginned up about it every time I think about the whole situation:

By all admission, President Trump has earned more votes tha any other sitting president in our history. This is not a surprise, given the extraordinary level of support and enthusiasm we all could see for him before the election, between the rally sizes, the spontaneous rallies in support of him even in places where no surrogate was due to be, his Rasmussen approvals being higher even than Obama’s most of the time, the #WalkAway and #Blexit movements...

He is an historical phenomenon, without a shadow of a doubt, so his overwhelming vote totals make perfect sense!

But the media and the DC elites expect us to suspend all common sense, credulity, logic, and intelligence so we can believe that the walking ham sandwich

who couldn’t draw flies to his appearances,

whose running mate was the LEAST popular of the democrat herd of candidates,

who has been out there promising to
end fracking,
take away fossil fuels,
raise taxes,
open our borders to illegals,
open immigration to countries who sponsor terrorism,
lock us down for three more months thereby tanking our economy,
get us back into ass kissing of Iran,
and has demonstrably subjugated our foreign policy to the highest bidding foreign governments,

somehow got even more votes than the iconic, historic, phenom of a sitting President.

Are they insane? This tells me that while they were working on their full court press to take him out of office, they did so with the full arrogance of believing that his 75+ million voters are actually the ignorant, low IQ, knuckle dragging hillbillies that they like to say we are, and that as long as “FOX News” reported it to us, we would buy into it.

It’s an outrageous insult to any person who can walk and chew gum at the same time to expect us to believe that BS.
