I think that has been their tactic for too long. The left have constantly been claiming that Republicans are racists, homophobic Nazis, and we bend over backwards trying to show that we’re not. We have allowed them to keep pushing and pushing us to the point that all of their extreme behavior is now almost commonplace, and they have gotten more aggressive knowing that we just keep caving to their bullying.
It’s the same thing as kids who are bullies and those who get bullied. We get bullied, and because we allow it, they get more and more aggressive because they see us as pushovers. :(
In this regard, it seems the good guys get pushed around, walked on, and we finish last.
We need to smack them down, like the bullies they are, and tell them, “NO MORE!”
A bully's always going to keep bullying until they taste their own blood. I say it's time.
There are times when I get called one or more of those names on a regular basis. I’m immune to it now and have been for a very long time. I know what’s in my heart; not them.
I laugh at them and it triggers ‘em into a rage because that tactic usually works on right wingers. Once you take that away from them they have nothing.
