The people that are truly essential to a society have not slowed down a bit. The truck drivers, the people that fix the important things when they break, sanitation workers, the people that keep the lights on and water in the faucet, and all the others that make it possible for the non-essential workers to shelter and work in place. It would be a hardship on all for a short time. Doing nothing in the event the courts and the legislatures fail us means losing the beacon of hope and freedom for the world forever.
Sounds much like "Flattening the Curve" from last Spring, so as not to overwhelm the hospitals.
How has that worked out?
HR's would love this idea.
