I have friend whose son died in an accident. He just bought a $100,000 Double Indemnity life insurance policy. Because the Coroner said the 19 yr. old died from Covid, his parents get NOTHING!A double indemnity policy pays double the face value in case accidental death. Even with Covid, they would still get the face value of the policy.

I haven’t seen the policy, but he was devastated, whatever kind of policy it was. I advised him to contact the Coroner and a lawyer.
