It’s something about being a “fast service” for skype (which I do’t use).
(I dual boot; Linux/Winblows, thankfully I don’t have to worry about this cr@p on Linux))
My oldest son got me started on Apple computers years ago, so I’ve never changed. At one time he was an Apple tech, but for many years now, he has worked as a graphic artist, and videographer. Over the years, he’s had to move from Apple to PC’s because of the companies he has worked for. I know he was using Linux on his Apple computers at one point, but since he’s had to use PC’s, he uses Linux on his computers at home. He’s still a geek. His hobby is creating mods for people to use in Fallout 4, plus he regularly live streams on Twitch. He’s 54. I don’t know where he got his technical geekness from, but it certainly wasn’t from me. I’m into history. I don’t know how he retains all the crap in his head that he does. He amazes me. He’s obsessive, and relentless when it comes to working on a technical problem, but when it comes to trying to remember things he needs to do in the real world...forget it.
