In this testing, does it distinguish between covid or the flu?

Does it for example say...good news, bad news.... you don’t have Covid, but you do have the flu?

Why do I feel that anyone with a seasonal cold/flu is being counted as a covid case...and guess what, here it is November....middle of the season for that....

Why do I feel that anyone with a seasonal cold/flu is being counted as a covid case.

Probably because that is exactly what they are doing.

Reported cases for influenza cases are down 80% to 90% in this season. This is way beyond any previous seasonal variation ever seen. It appears quite clear that any illness showing flu-like symptoms (aches, fever, diarrhea, bronchial inflammation) is presumed to be COVID-19.

And the 40-cycle PCR test used to "confirm" a COVID-19 diagnosis seems to have an incredible false-positive rate. (See Elon Musk for details)

People who take multiple tests with positive results get counted as multiple cases, further inflating the statistics.
