There is a big difference between a gun owner and a gun user.
There are millions of gun owners - few of them would be gun users. Owning a gun for most people is a security blanket.
In the face of Antifa/blm burning looting and destroying cities, I haven’t seen many gun owners become gun users.
It’s not owning a gun that will save you, it’s the will to use it. And the will to use, if it comes at all will be under desperate conditions and you’ll be an army of one vs the organized mob.
Unfortunaly most conservatives are armies of one. Unlike the left we are very poor at organizing for our common interest and to be proactive in defending those interests. At best we are reactive and even then we’re not organized.

Thus the mad push to deplatform any post or site with Traditional American values.
As for actually using a firearm in anger, I think the average American fares much better than a conscripted soldier in the real world.
Organize like you’re describing and you’d find yourself in a cell, or surrounded by Bureau of Land Management (another BLM... huh) agents.
That’s not an accident in my estimation.
