How did we get to privatizing the elections like this?
Ahhh, my favorite subject - the great corrupting of America. Turning essentially public functions over to private "support services" contractors. The promise was to bring the efficiency of private industry to government. It's a scam because there is no free market competition for say voting machines and voting software. It's basically a monopoly with kickbacks.
The same for prisons. There are some functions of government in our society that can not be outsourced.
