been using a free app from the app store for both texting and talk- works pretty well- but probably isn’t secure at all- who knows- Think it’s called Text Now or something like that- send as many texts as you want- calls are reLLy clear- only thing is you can’t use a VPN while using it- unfortunately-
I use TextMe on Android and iOS for free texting and calls, in perpetuity it seems, but it is probably among the least secure apps available. Not a real concern to me unless comms to/from my girlfriend are of great interest to someone. Not even good blackmail material.
