So.... what he’s saying is that liberalism is a gateway drug?
I think he’s reaching out to liberals and saying hey, you can be a liberal and not go lockstep with the hard left, they are something different something monstrous.
The problem is leftists control the liberal agenda. Liberals are those who agree with the current demands of the leftists, but think that things will be fine once that agenda is implemented. Then, the agenda is implemented, and leftists demand the next step farther to the left. Liberals then go along with it.
So, there is no point in distinguishing liberals and leftists. They all lead us to the gulag.
