HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. The Arkansas officer killed in the line of duty on Thursday has been identified.
Officer Travis Wallace, 41, was a five year veteran of the Helena-West Helena Police Department, Chief James Smith told WREG Friday. He leaves behind his mother, two children and several sisters and brothers.
When you go there and speak with his child and tell them that his father is not coming back home, thats something hard for an adolescent to process, Smith said.

I haven’t lived in Arkansas for many years, but it’s still home. This story breaks my heart.
God bless his family and may they recieve justice.

Sheesh...the doctor in charge at that birth must have wondered at first glance if the pair mightn't have arrived via the rear exit.
Helena Arkansas is on the Mississippi river, drive across the bridge and you’re in the Mississippi delta near Clarksdale MS, the “Home of the Blues”.
To say that the area is ethnic would be an understatement. If you convinced every white person within a 50 mile radius to come to a riot you could probably fit all of them in one minivan.
Does Arkansas still have the death penalty? As I recall, they do.
If so, let’s have a “Two-fer”. Who wants to feed the fat pig for the rest of his life? As for the killer, increase the electricity, chemicals, weight of the rope, the number of bullets to be use, or the poundage of Portland cement.
Just kill the animals.
PS My son was a federal police officer and combat veteran of Iraq. He got jumped by some weird Hispanic creep in a convenience store a couple weeks ago. Very stupid and bad decision on the part of the perk. He’ll be feeling the pain for years, besides spending time in jail and then facing possible deportation (despite our Soros’ whore DA).
Talk about going medieval on “his ass” and head and body, etc. Your tax dollars well spent and at work.
It could have been me, or my grandchildren, or YOU!
