Well, now there’s no new house. The owners didn’t want to take anything off. It’s amazing how many people move into a house, trash it, and then expect to get the same amount of money back. We had a super good inspector. So it is possible, and even likely, that a bad inspector won’t catch things and the house will sell.
Hubby was a home inspector for a while. It ended up that the Realtors only hire the inspectors that get the house is sold. Meaning they miss most of the problems. My husband refused to be that kind of inspector and so quit. But he did figure out who are good ones and that’s who we are hiring.
