The French Laundry is on my bucket list.

+1 on F Newsom. I have a few friends that eat there occasionally. One of them was joking that he went out for pizza afterward because he was still hungry. I guess the food is fantastic, but I'd have trouble justifying the price. Also you get what they serve that night, so you better hope it's something you really like. Not quite on my bucket list, but I might go someday when I feel like dropping over a grand on dinner for two.

Amen. You and me both. French cooking is tops. Besides Dominican Mondongo.. they are the only folks cook organ meat I’ll eat. I think French Laundry is one of this nations most expensive restaurants...

I mean I have had tripe stew with figs in Lyon and loved it.. French just really take food up a notch all round ...
