Are the Breitbart solicitation emails supposedly for President Trump's defense fund legit?

Twice now, I have received this email from Breitbart:

link to message

I have not sent anything, though I dearly want to help our president fight this fraud on the entire American people. I can't attend the big Washington DC rally this Saturday, although I'll be there in spirit. I can't call my Congresscritters, as they are long time machine Dims. I don't think sitting here fuming at the commie takeover of our country's voting by stealth and thievery will be helpful, but it feels good.

Looks like most of the money doesn’t go towards the stated cause. Bait and switch. Directly from your link:

60% of each contribution first to Save America, up to $5,000/$5,000, then to DJTP’s Recount Account, up to a maximum of $2,800/$5,000.

40% of each contribution to the RNC’s Operating account, up to a maximum of $35,500/$15,000.

Any additional funds will go to the RNC for deposit in the RNC’s Legal Proceedings account or Headquarters account, up to a maximum of $213,000/$90,000.

odd looks like the dono page directly from Donald j Trump official website splits your donations the same way.

It says you can specify to have all your donation go towards the election fight, I would do that

I wouldn’t give a penny to anything that’s not very specifically earmarked for a narrowly targeted use. That goes for any giving to any cause.

Most often the money goes into slush funds for misc hangers-on to drain, they all belly up to the trough at feeding time.

WRKO's Jeff Kuhner said on his morning show that you can send contributions to Trump directly, which will 100% go to his legal defense fund. He gave the address but I did not catch the entire address.

If anyone from Mass. caught the full address PLEASE post it here.

This is all I caught/wrote down from Kuhner's radio show:

Donald J. Trump Inc

75 (?)_______(??) Ave

NY, NY 10022

Maybe try here?

https://secure.donaldjtrump.com/donate/

It appears mail address matches what you heard:

Mail: To contribute by mail, please send a personal check made payable to the “Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.” to:

Donald J. Trump President, Inc
C/O Trump Tower
725 5th Avenue
New York, NY 10022

The fine print seems to say it goes to various Trump funds -- pay off campaign debt and pay for recount effort. (”Donations to DJTFP’s Recount Account will be used solely in connection with any post-election recounts and election contests and not for the purpose of influencing any federal election.”)

I had been wanting to donate ... this seems like the place.
