I would not put this past the evil of the liberal mind. Those who can afford to relocate do so to a warmer clime and help turn red states purple or even blue; meanwhile, there is a new wave of voters who are imported and live in government-run facilities who vote blue.

$2,700 a month average rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn. My how things have changed. Growing up, in the 1940s and 50s, we lived in a one bedroom apartment in the North Bronx. My parents were paying $55 per month. In 1957 we moved to a three bedroom apartment in Mt. Vernon where they paid $135 a month. Both apartments were in very nice neighborhoods and within one block of beautiful parks. Now, 60 years later, those same apartment buildings remain standing as do the vast majority of apartment buildings from that time. The same apartment buildings, only much older, with staggering rental rates. No wonder people are leaving NYC and NYS with two absolute madmen egomaniacs running herd on the population. New York, New York, the name so nice they say it twice. Sadly, those days appear to be gone forever.
