Yes. It is. The moderators have basically ran off those that post serious and thoughtful articles by accusing them of trying to “pimp” their blog. If you have noticed the fund-raisers now take the entire 3 months to complete. Mods have caused those that donate money to cease coming to the site. I’ve had the site bookmarked since the 90s or so, back when a fundraiser could last only a week before complete. Heck, Sean Hannity used to support his site.

I never had a problem with people "pimping their blog" here, to use the vernacular. Always welcomed the content, even if I had to click a link to read the rest and get the creator of the content a couple of pennies for that click.

So long as it wasn't Washington Compost, NYSlimes, etc.

The mods do that too? That’s a shame. I’ve seen that nasty humblegunner go after people for perceived “blog pimping” as well as posting vanities. I’m sure he’s managed to run off some people.

Moderators are supposed to be impartial...Unfortunately, like everywhere else, they’ve got their favorites and that’s the way the game is played.
