Good idea. There have been premonitions about this on the financial pages but never openly reported. Usually looks like clickbait but. Now we have confirmation of intent..

Researches ways to avoid a higher tax rate to do that also. Just started putting more money away in non-401K accounts (gold, silver, and funds to buy land).

Can you do those things in a lump sum? I thought you would just get the money back in a series of monthly payments over a number of years.
