No, it's not unity: Democrats are obsessed with power

Democrats have talked about getting rid of the electoral college and stacking the courts for years. It has nothing to do with helping the poor, minorities or else unifying the country. Democrats are obsessed with confiscating power for themselves and government. Their policies are an existential threat to our freedom, prosperity, and survival as a great country.

Reduce freedom of choice on health care. Their goal is clearly to move towards complete government control of health care. They don’t care how many jobs and communities this will destroy throughout the country.

Premiums and out of pocket expenses skyrocketed after Obamacare passed, even though we were promised they would go down substantially. Prices stabilized and competition returned after Trump got rid of the individual mandate and allowed freedom of choice as to what kind of insurance policy to buy.

Trump mobilized the private sector to help deal with COVID-19. Democrats want to destroy the private health care industry and considers profits and capitalism to be evil.

I’ve forgotten how to post, so I’m adding this here. Please forgive me for doing it wrong and post this as a stand-alone post if you want. I think it’s important.

For the last 4+ years, the Democrats have gone scorched earth. You have salted the fields and now you want to grow crops. The problem is we have memories longer than a hamster. We remember the Democrat losers Not attending Trump’s Inauguration. We remember the women’s march the day after inauguration. We remember the 4 years of attacks and impeachments. We remember “not our president” and the “Resistance…” We remember Maxine Waters telling followers to harass us in restaurants. We remember the Presidents spokesperson being kicked out a restaurant. We remember hundreds of Trump supporters physically attacked. We remember Trump supporters getting Doxed, and fired from jobs. We remember riots, and looting. We remember “a comedian” holding up the President’s severed head. We remember a play in Central park paid for with public funding, showing the killing of President Trump. We remember Robert de Niro yelling “_____ Trump” at the Tony’s and getting a standing ovation. We remember Nancy Pelosi tearing up the State of the Union Address. We remember the total in the tank move on the mainstream media. We remember the non-stop and live fact checking on our President and his supporters. We remember non-stop in your face lies and open cover-ups from the media. We remember the President and his staff being spied on. We remember five Senators shot on a ballfield. We remember every so-called comedy show turn into nothing but Trump hate fest. We remember 95% negative coverage in the news. We remember the state governors asking and getting everything they ask for and then blaming Trump for their problems. We remember a Trump top aid verbally assaulted in two DC restaurants. We remember people banging on the Supreme Court doors. We remember that we were called every name in the book for supporting President Trump. We remember that Hollywood said they would leave after Trump was elected but they stayed. Destroyed Voter Integrity! Turning America’s voting process into a JOKE, and open to fraud. Allowing censorship of one group of people over another. Allowing the bias news to suppress stories on a presidential candidate, that they favor. And for the past 4 years, literally work to destroy Trump.

In the 1930s the Nazi party in Germany transformed German culture into something previously unrecognizable.. The process was called Gleichshaltung, loosely translated as “co-ordination” and it engaged all the social institutions of media, academia, the arts, business, the churches, in addition of course to a pervasive politically homogeneous government.

What we have been dealing with as “political correctness” all these years has been the foundation for the current cultural transformation being foisted upon us now, only on steroids. This is why all the narratives of the Left seem to coalesce into one homogeneous blob; COVID, climate change, “systemic racism,” BLM, “social justice,” each one a tentacle from the same beast intent on total control.

Donald Trump foresaw this and has labored valiantly against it, but he is one man. With the GOP largely a pack of pusillanimous sellouts, he has no serious party behind him to provide support and ballast. Only we the people. But given the power of the media and the technology of control to go with it, we the people have been effectively neutered. How would Hitler have loved to have a Facebook or a Twitter on his side, doing his bidding for him.

When they seriously suggest that the New York Times or cable channels should “certify” elections, that we should eliminate the electoral college, pack the SC, make lists of “Trump collaborators” to be targeted for retribution, it is an indication that they believe they have the upper hand now, and that upper hand holds a whip and a gun.

These are the times for which the Second Amendment was written. Be assured that it will be the first to go, with the collusion of a compromised and complicit court. After that the United States will still survive, even as Germany did; but the American story as we know it may be coming to an end.
