First question any Assistant US Attorney should be asking is how the hell did the investigators who interviewed him have the right to brief the House oversight committee about the specifics of the interview? This is an ongoing case and all information collected during an active case is forbidden to be disclosed outside of the office/agency involved in the investigation. Which ever investigator/supervisor/clerk etc. that briefed the House needs to be immediately terminated and charged with the appropriate crime.
Well, the guy who is the employee of the USPS OIG, Russell Strasser said he drove in from New York. But that could also have been said to mislead; because I found a man with his name located at the US Post Office in L’enfant Plaza in Washington, DC.
And THAT is just down the hill from Capitol Hill. Maybe he was sent by a crooked dem on the Hill.
So he may well have driven in from NY, but he also may have flown from DC to NY first. Definitely shady.
