And let me explain the 4 doctors thing. A non-flake PhD only states that he has a PhD as part of his resume when he is talking on a subject within his inevitably narrow area of technical or academic expertise and does not use it for any other purpose because it is irrelevant. Any really good scientist never mentions his degree at all. Anyone who violates that rule is a flake 95% of the time, or a non-flake with a probability of .05. So if you have 4 such degrees and advertise that fact the probability of being a nonflake is .05^4. In other words there is a 99.999375% chance you are a flake.

I mention my PhD here in this context only because my special expertise is digging out technical flakes and frauds because a lot of money is at stake. Otherwise I weigh the value of what people say by what they say - and whether they can get to a solid relevant point quickly backed up by evidence - with little weight given to their degree or degree of degree unless they start to make a point of these, then it suggests that they are drawing attention away from what they are saying and standing on their authority to say it.
